What happens if the internet goes down at my venue?
Your menu is hosted online, so a guest needs a connection to open it — but that is usually their own mobile data rather than your wifi. If the venue's internet drops, scanning still works. We suggest keeping two or three printed backups for guests without data.
Can guests order from the digital menu?
Yes, on the Menu + Ordering plan. Every table gets its own QR code. A guest scans it, picks their items and sends the order; it appears on a tablet in your kitchen within seconds, staff tap Accept and then Ready, and the guest watches the status on their phone. From the same screen they can call a waiter or ask for the bill.
Do guests pay online?
No. Guests pay you at the venue exactly as they do today — cash or card, at the table or at the till. Ordering replaces the walk to the counter, not the payment. When they ask for the bill they can say cash or card in advance, so the waiter brings the right thing the first time.
What does the kitchen need for ordering?
Any Android tablet or iPad with a browser. Open display.geteasyoffer.com, enter a pairing code from your dashboard once, and from then on it shows live orders and rings when a new one lands. A tablet you already have is fine, and we set it up with you when you start.
